For this exciting project we decided to keep the framing simple, as each of the pieces speak (sing!) for themselves. A narrow, but deep, white frame was chosen in order to make it look as if the art is floating in the frame.
Each framed piece is quite large. The white mat extends 4 1/2 inches at the top and sides, and 5 inches at the bottom.
A white wooden frame space was used in order to lift the conservation glass off of the paper.
The art itself was then kool tacked (an archival, reversible process) to keep the paper flat within the framing.
